Expeditions

At Lava Expeditions we offer treks and climbs to suite all abilities and we like to consider ourselves a flexible company when it comes to organising expeditions.  We are one of the only companies to offer guided technical routes on Kilimanjaro.  We also offer technical and trekking routes on Uganda’s Rwenzori mountain range and trekking on Mt Kenya.

Lava Expeditions has its foundations organising mountain expeditions in East Africa, but as our experience as a company has grown we have been able to forge relationships in more countries giving us the ability to offer expeditions on more mountains.
We now also operate out of Nepal, Russia and Argentina where we have built trustworthy relationships with local guides and local support companies.  The relationships and the experience we have in these countries give’s us the ability to organise safe and affordable adventures at altitude.

Although many of our trips have set dates and time scales we are always flexible when it comes to organising expeditions for small or large groups.  The time scale we have in place for each individual route on a mountain has proved the most popular for the greatest percentage of the clients we have guided. We know these time scales will not suit everyone and we are always flexible when it comes to organising an expedition.
