The classic Everest Base Camp trek follows in the footsteps of Everest legends like Tenzing Norgay, Hillary, Bonington and Messner.  The route follows the classic trail to Everest Base Camp through Namche Bazaar, Khumjung, Pangboche and Lobuche before summiting Kalpattar (5545metres) which offers the best views of Everest and the Khumbu Glacier. 

The trek offers an excellent opportunity to experience one of the most famous trekking routes in the world.  The trek also offers a unique insight into the Sherpa way of life.  All accommodation on the trek will be in traditional Sherpa tea houses with accommodation in Kathmandu being in the Hotel Marshyangdi.  The trek is spread over 17 days giving plenty of time for acclimatisation while on the mountains and a few days leisure time to explore Kathmandu.
